It’s way of life that doesn’t rely on hearing. Imagine if Deaf folks were stranded on an island, would the outcome be the same? Deaf folks will work to get their basic needs met; shelter, food and water.
The Deaf ecosystem is an island in an ocean of hearing methods and processes. It’s a space where Deaf folks can be self reliant, with money and resources flowing throughout the community.

Donations may be allocated to support Certified Deaf Interpreters, DeafBlind interpreters and support, ASL interpreters from marginalized communities, as well as fund requests for event access for Black Lives Matter (BLM) and various marginalized community events.
