You will have 5 minutes to chat with each participant. If you feel stuck on conversation, topics are available.
For optimum experience, mute yourself and make sure your camera shows your full ASL signing space.
You may meet folks with low vision, be mindful. You can improve your camera appearance with solid backgrounds and adjusting the contrast of your hands and face with efficient lighting. Shrink your signing space by tucking in your elbows. When fingerspelling, place your hand in the camera.
Be patient in between chats, it may take a minute to find your next chat buddy. It’s a good time to grab a sip of water and stretch your fingers!
