Family and the Holidays: Brushing Up on Your ASL!
Do you have Deaf or Hard of Hearing family or friends coming to visit over the holidays? Has it been awhile since you’ve signed? Right now, we are offering a holiday special: a one time, “Brush Up” lesson for just $40! Maybe you are just meeting this family member and haven’t had contact with Deaf culture or American Sign Language before. Consider getting your family together to take a course in the basics of ASL! Donations may be allocated to support Certified Deaf Interpreters, DeafBlind interpreters and support, ASL interpreters from marginalized communities, as well as fund requests for event access for Black Lives Matter (BLM) and various marginalized community events.
