ASL Deaf Chat Nights every Wednesday at the sitting area of Factoria Mall near Panera and Panda Express 7:00pm-9:00pm Located in Bellevue, Washington. This is a great opportunity to meet and chat with all levels of sign language. Go ahead and introduce yourself, pretty soon you will find yourself in a sea of flying fingers.
Donations may be allocated to support Certified Deaf Interpreters, DeafBlind interpreters and support, ASL interpreters from marginalized communities, as well as fund requests for event access for Black Lives Matter (BLM) and various marginalized community events.
My 16 year old daughter is learning ASL and is wanting to practice her signing conversation skills with other signers. I am wondering if this Wednesday night meeting is still happening and if it would be a good option for her. Or are there other groups or options that you can recommend? She is hearing, but absolutely loves to sign. We live in Bellevue.
